irishdazzler Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well? anyway, I was wondering if your collective knowledge can help me out by helping me lay my hands on a nice, thick, good quality brown leather strap for my guitar. Or you could do what I did and go the cheap route - grab a rifle sling from a military surplus store. Easy to rig as a guitar strap although you usually have to soften them up a bit. irishdazzler Posted October 27, 2011 Author Share Posted October 27, 2011 A little expensive, but here you got it: http://www.eldoradostraps.com/noel.htm That is the very strap - but hell, yeah they are pricey.....If I was any good, or actually brave enough to play in front of anyone I could justify it! but that is exactly the strap I am looking for, brown leather, and nice and thick. so you guys say there are plenty of alternatives? as for the rifle idea Zomby that sounds pretty cool....but sadly in the UK you cant buy rifles, or their straps.
