If there's any way to obtain more info from the custom shop about the material's availability (Where do they get the material) that would be very helpful. These are proving very hard to find so far. TC5 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Share Posted October 18, 2008 I have found info on Tortoise shell materials. There appears to be Acrylic or Celluloid tortoise shell material. It would be very helpful if I could find out which material Gibson uses (on Les Paul Historic Black Beauty, VOS, 2007). Thanks for any help.
