cleanhead Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 It'll save me a lot of time and angst if someone can tell me if the ES339 comes as a lefty. I've looked everywhere without success, and was just about to give up when I saw a kid playing one on a YouTube demo. That said, I haven't been able to find that clip since, so maybe I imagined the whole thing. Guess I'll have to fork out the extra grand or so for an ES335. Which in the long run is probably no bad thing.

I could be wrong but i think most all 335's and 339's in the lefty variety are custom shop only guitars. They might make a few of them now and then but are bought up quickly. Good luck on your search......... I am a member at http://www.leftyfrets.net/index.php and also http://forum.leftyguitartrader.com/index.php so you might look around both of those forums My nic is Bob at both forums...... edit... there is a lefty 335 for sale here http://www.leftyfrets.net/showthread.php?t=5747

cleanhead Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 Thanks for that. You're probably right. Oh well, looks like I'll part-exchange my lefty Gretsch 6120 for an ES335 after all.

I know you don't want to search but look around a bit on ebay or even Guitar Center used stuff and type in LH something might pop up one day. I've looked around for different lefty guitars before and ended up buying one then found a nice used one a month later..................
