canadaguitar Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I have recently come accross a 1930's Kel kroydon guitar that is need of some repair. Just wondering if anyone on here has come accross one of these and would it be worth while restoring? Thanks for you help in advance...
pfox14 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Gibson made the Kel Kroydon brand for only about 2-3 years from 1930-33. They are pretty rare and certainly worth restoring. I would recommend contacting Tony Klassen at New Era guitars. He has worked on several of them and even builds a replica Model KK-2. http://www.myspace.com/arkneweraguitars
