Hi, Newbie FranZ here, from the Netherlands.

Since 1981 i own this Les Paul Standard, used it a lot, quit active through all these years. I searched a lot on the net for this guitar, Gibson Les Paul Standard, Natural Finish (1981).

But there's hardly anything to find about simular guitars, with natural finish and about this age. I looked for pictures, information, second hand, almost anything.

Has anyone got a simular model, or does anyone have information about this model and natural finish?

Does anyone know how many of these were made (standards in this natural finish).

Also has anyone got a clue about what it's worth today, it is in original condition and still plays and sounds great.

It is not for sale, i'm just looking for information.

ThanX!!!

Hello and welcome Franz! Sorry I cannot help You, but I have to say this is a beautyful guitar! Once I saw a late 70s Deluxe in this colour. Yours is a nice example of a Norlin-era LP. 3-piece maple neck with volute, big headstock. Great! Cheers... Bence

I'd call Gibson customer service. You can also email them pictures aslong as there no more than 2mb. They can tell you what you need to know. Very nice standard btw, I almost bought a very simliar one a few years back but missed it by 2 seconds lol.
