I'm sure a good enthusiastic luthier could fix this over a hard-working weekend. . .

Seriously –

Is this piece yours ?

What is the nut-width ?

Is it straight ?

In case yes, is it for sale ?

For sale: vintage Gibson acoustic. Beautiful Brazilian fretboard. Some playwear. Short scale version. Needs minor repairs to correct intonation problems.

With a little work, this one will be a beauty. Asking price of $5k reflects needed repairs. Act fast. This one won't last. [biggrin]

Actually, that looks like it could possibly be a very nice neck, with a lovely early 19-fret Brazilian board. That assumes the back of the neck wasn't used to beat something hard, like somebody's head.

That proves it. Gibson's quality control is lacking. A guitar like that should never get past final inspection at bozeman!
