regaal Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 not sure if this has been asked but, does anyone know if the EB-0 neck would fit a blackbird body?
Rob R Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 It would take some work. The Blackbird it a 34" scale and the EB-0 is 30".

regaal Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 well damn. there went that idea. i may be picking up a blackbird body shortly, and im looking to put a different style neck on. since i dig the EB style head stock i was hopping it would be an easy fit.

You would have to modify the neck pocket a little, but it's very do-able.
regaal Posted November 12, 2011 Author Posted November 12, 2011 the blackbird body fell through so im going to put it off for awhile. perhaps i will just start saving and pick up a gibson artist bass or maybe a morsite.
Rob R Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 It could have worked, but it requires moving the bridge or router the neck pocket deeper to shorten the length of the strings. As it is now the upper fret access on a T-Bird is limited now so that would just make it worse. I think you back up plan sound like a better idea
