LarryUK Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Ibanez move the game on! I love the Ibanez necks. I like them thin.
BigKahune Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 . Artusato makes a very impressive demonstration. Really interesting setup on that one. Around $2K (?) . I gotta check one out. Steve - I gotta give you a .+. on this one. . B)
MojoRedFoot Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 7 strings and 30 frets http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZAFOSdHGiM
lagerfanny Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Technically brilliant, outstanding skills & musicianship................................... but really boring to listen to.......... For me, if you can't hum a solo in your head you've heard, then play it , I'm not interested. (ok not quite as cut & dried as that, but you get the picture) love you all.
Guest farnsbarns Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 ever wondered what you could do with 30 frets?... Play really high notes?
pauloon Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 i still have trouble with the first four......
fl00dsm0k3 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 wonder what you could do with a 30 fret guitar with 7 or 8 strings
BigKahune Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 .... For me, if you can't hum a solo in your head you've heard, then play it , I'm not interested. .... So, you like hummers. Don't we all ! ? ! Just sayin' . . B)
rocketman Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 It's pretty neat. Someone with fat fingers would have a tough time playing it though. Mine are average and I have trouble with my PRS at the 24th fret.
FirstMeasure Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Nothing new under the sun, Hamer was making 36 frets back in the late 80's.
Thundergod Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 C00l guitar for those who are into shredding and those who just need some extra notes up there. I can't get over the l00ks of such a small body (and I am more of a 21 frets guy anyway).

S t e v e Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Play really high notes? i never thought of that
Searcy Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 This guy can do lots of things whith 30 frets. Me...? I still can't figue out what the 16th fret is suposed to be for.
charlie brown Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Dddn't Danelectro "Guitarolins," in the 60's, have 30+ frets? Of course, not too many played/shredded those, like that. CB

S t e v e Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Agreed. The guy has some great skills, but it's wasted on my ears. the guy was only showing what you can do with 30 frets (if shredding is your thing) i don't think he was looking for your approval on his musical abilty or style of playing...
