chipwich Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Greetings. This is my first post in this section, but have been spending a bunch of time reading here of late due to the purchase of two Epis, a new LP Traditional Pro in Korina, and a 2008 Sheraton II (completely awesome guitar). The Sherry is in perfect shape except for the PO had removed the pick guard an lost the screws. Should I check with a local Gibson dealer (GC), or source from somewhere else, like the hardware store? TIA.

chipwich Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Thanks Hungrycat. Although I don't need the bracket, that got me pointed in the right direction as far as being able to find the exact part online. I found what I was looking for HERE. Will post some HNGD photos ASAP.
Hungrycat Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I just figured it's like, four bucks for the the whole thing. So why not?
rolling56 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Congrats on the Sherry II. I have a Dec 2010 that i absolutely love to play.
Funkyard Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 $7.44 for a screw from Stew Mac $.49 & $6.95 to ship!
chipwich Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 $7.44 for a screw from Stew Mac $.49 & $6.95 to ship! Yes it's hard not to feel gouged over that shipping charge. On the other hand, there is something to be said about placing an order from the comfort of your PC and having the exact screws to make your guitar perfect show up in your mailbox in a few days. Got a killer deal on the Sheraton too.
