sellen Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 custom vs usaGibson Sg 50th anniversary usa W/57 Classic vs Gibson CS sg Standard CW W/Burstbucker 1-2 example two starts at 2 minutes. Both were at first take so it's rough and a bit slappy, and as always a bit to much gain. can you spot the difference? Edit: First one is sg custom shop. It was a bad example, played through distortion box and into a cheap recorder. Got a well earned -1 for this stuff :-"
badbluesplayer Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'll play. 57's first, then BB1&2?
krock Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Both sounded incredibly similar on my speakers. We do need more of these sort of games on here though
vincentw Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 the first one sounded a tad warmer so I'm going with the '57s for the first track.
FirstMeasure Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'm betting the first is Burstbucker, sounds like there's more bite and girth, specially in the pick attack. Very hard to distinguish any differences, though. {edit}And then I read the post all the way through....Fail on my part
Tim Plains Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 When do we get the answer? Read the first post.
