Denis57 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Two great artists on the same stage. Priceless moment and lots of fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCY-pMMzv68&feature=fvwp&NR=1
j45nick Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Two of my absolute favorites. Les Paul proved you can play 'til the day you die, no matter how long you live. Keef proves that you can play long after your brain HAS died. God bless both of 'em.

jt Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Thanks for posting this! I hadn't seen it. I went in to NYC every few years to catch Les. Always a treat and always some surprises. Best was the night that Leon Redbone sat in to sing. I just pulled out the CD that he and Les singed from me that night; it was 1993. I last saw Les play just a month or so before he died. I'd resolved that my guitar playing 14 year old needed to see Les. He and I bought Les Paul pickguards to have autographed. Alas, Les was not feeling up to autographs after his set. But, at least my son got to see Les, still playing two sets every Monday night at the age of 94. Amazing.

GotTheSilver Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I saw Les twice at the Irridium. Les was great both times, but nobody as cool as Keith Richards stopped by either time! I wish this was just a video of them playing together. It's annoying that as soon as the guitar playing starts, some guy starts talking over it!
BigKahune Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 . Wonderful find. . Thanks. It seems Keef does indeed have some brain activity left. . B) .
struma6 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 The "some guy" is Steve Miller, just so ya know! One of my regrets is I never made it to NYC to see Les. Thanks for the vid!
