lengle1981 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Hi there, this is my first post. I've just bought an epiphone SG today in fact. I'm now in the process of buying a maestro tremelo from all parts. Only issue for me is that it won't have the epiphone harp on the tailpiece. I'm trying to get a nice clear picture of that same logo so a friend of mine can engrave it on the one I'm buying from all parts. Does anybody have a really clear photo or just the logo that I can pass to him. Any help would be great. I've searched the net but all photos seem unclear and most of the time it's due to the lighting. Can anyone help?
Supersonic Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 This is the best pic of mine that I currently have uploaded on my computer. I can probably take another one a little bit later if you'd like.
tweed2 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 This is the best pic of mine that I currently have uploaded on my computer. I can probably take another one a little bit later if you'd like. That is a sweet looking guitar, Mike.
lengle1981 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Supersonic101 if u could upload me one big and clear of just the tailpiece that would be fantastic, I'd be very grateful. That way I could just give him the photo! By the way, nice guitar, love sg's with trems, never had one n always wanted one. Don't suppose anyone knows where I could get a cheaper maestro trem apart from all parts, they're expensive. If not I'm gonna get one this week anyway. When it's done I'll upload the pics
Supersonic Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 This is about the best I can do with my limited photography skills and cheap camera. Look how dirty my guitar is!!
lengle1981 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 That is fantastic, thank you for that. That's really clear and will do nicely. Once again thank you for your help!
jcwillow777 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Here is mine. I will be getting a new camera next week, which won't do you any good now.
lengle1981 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 I will, I'm just hoping it looks tge same. I can't see it not being as they are professionals. Fingers crossed anyway
lengle1981 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Question for you guys, if I fit the maestro trem, will it show any of the holes after removing the original tailpiece on the sg? Hadn't thought of that s**t!

lengle1981 Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 I suppose I could leave the screws in or get a plate across it perhaps, a bit like the vibramate, but the maestro one still says 'coming soon' on the site.
