Atox Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Hello, First of all, I would like to introduce myself. Mi name is Dani and I write from Spain. Recently I've bought this guitar from second hand, and the only thing I know is it was made in Zcech Republic in 1999. Your guitar was made at the Bohemia Musico-Delica Plant, Czech Republic October 1999 Production Number: #### Anybody could give me more details? I would know some information about it: model, woods, quality (it's better than koreans made?), etc... As you will see at pictures, the last propietary made it some changes on it: pickups, tunners, take off the pickward... The pickups are DiMarzio Paf Pro/Tone Zone. It sounds awsome with my Blackstar!! For security reasons I've deleted from pictures the last four numbers of serial. Thank you very much! And sorry for my English.
bigneil Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Nice guitar! and welcome to the forum well, I cant offer any information about your guitar except that I believe that those Czech built Epi's are supposed to be very well made.
LSAR Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Can't say anything about quality. The woods should be a mahogany body (back) and neck, Rosewood fretboard, and a Flame Maple top, or veneer. The model would be an LP Standard (Plus Top) Nice guitar.
Whitmore Willy Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Atox, Welcome to the forum!!! Buen día y Bienvenido! (did I say that right?) Hang around and have fun. Hope you are enjoying the guitar as much as I'm enjoying your pictures. And frankly, You write English better than most people I know speak it. Willy
Atox Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 Thank you very much for your comments!! I think it's a really nice guitar too, with a brilliant sound and a good built. It's heavier and faster than my other guitars (Ibanez rg550 from Japan and Sterling Ax40 from Indonesia) I swear. I'm really happy with this guitar and my question it's just for curiosity. I've write to Gibson Support and I hope they would answer my questions. Buen día y Bienvenido! (did I say that right?) Good!! But, it would be better if you use the plural form, at least in Spain. To say good morning, good evening, good night... we say "Buenos días" :D And frankly, You write English better than most people I know speak it. Well, I have to thank Google Translator to complete the faults of my knowledge in the language xD
