S t e v e Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 What types of videos are eligible? The basic guidelines are simple: for a video to be eligible, you must own worldwide distribution rights to everything in the video and it must abide by our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. This means you have created everything in your video yourself, and that you have not sold exclusive commercial usage rights to anyone else. If your video contains content created by someone else, you must have their written permission to use and make money from it. Which videos are NOT eligible? Your video is not eligible if it contains content that you didn't create or get permission from its creator to use. You need to be able to show written permission for the following video elements: Audio: recorded music, live performances, cover songs, background music, etc. Visuals: images, logos, software, video game footage, etc. Any other content to which you don't own worldwide commercial usage rights. that's the end of that then

jnastynebr Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Congrats. Ive got loads of mates that get money from google based on the views they get on their photoshop tutorial vids Send me a link if you got one. I need to work on photo editing, but have had a difficult time locating one that moves along at a decent click. There are a bunch out there, but they all seem way to basic or far too advanced.
Nick Beach Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I do this too. You only get money based on how many times someone clicks the adds google puts on your videos. Since your on youtube I'm sure you know no one ever clicks those videos. About 1 in every 450 views my videos get actually click the link. But I do get a check from google once a month or so for about 20 bucks, roughly 20cents per click.
Tman5293 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I have videos that have thousands of views on them and I got that email many moons ago. I didn't sign up for it though.
