daveinspain
Everybody puts down the LP classic.... I gotta tell you I love mine, it's a pleasure to hold, feels great and its light weight. So what if she has had lyposuction. She sounds wonderful and kicks ***... Since I lowered the pups she can even sound sweet. She looks like Jimmy's number one, cherry sunburst, yellowed binding and inlays, NOT SNOT GREEN.... Anyway, I just had to say that because when I picked her up to play today she was looking so sweet and felt so nice....

Wolff
I think I'll make this the last time I say this. I had a Classic in that same exact finish. I loved the way it sounded(I like the 500T a lot), felt, played and looked. I didn't like the '1960' on the pickguard so I changed it to a plain one and because I am a JP fanboi, I put a cover on the neck pup. However, to me personally, I just couldn't deal with the 'aged' inlays. I don't like aging, period. OK, I'm done now talking about the LP Classic. Nice axe Dave! Here it is:
daveinspain
Wolff, I don't like aged either.... i hate relics but when I bought my classic I didn't know anything about guitars... It just looked like a cool guitar so I bought it. I wasn't even going to keep it, I just wanted to sell it in Spain and make a quick buck. As it turned out I got hooked and the rest is history. I am now a member of G.A.S. Anonymous. Tim is my sponcer... As luck would have it I got a good one when I got my classic.... I must admit I have seen some ugly snot green inlays but mine doesn't have them....
GunsNRoses23
hey davee.. well you know i got the same guitar and.. talking about the " snot green " inlays.. i dont really care if theyre snot green or whatever.. they look good on these guitars.. well for my taste of course :) and tim.. i thought that too when i got it! and i was like cool.. but then i asked gibson and i read the manual and stuff and they started making them in 1990.. but i dont know for me its like the same thing because i have like this special love for my guitar that i would NEVER pick up another guitar.. when i will be famous you will still see me with my gibson les paul classic :)
