BobB Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Interesting idea, but I have my doubts about it becoming the next big thing. I wonder it has any other sound options besides steel drum?
Guest farnsbarns Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 It sounds horrid. Like an 80s casio keyboard. And why? What's the point?
FirstMeasure Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Looks like he's playing a Copy/Fax/Printer from the 90's and sounds like Mario Brothers on 45. But man, that dude has fleet hands! He's all over that "Thing". Actually, if they make some better samples for it or maybe a midi hook up, that would be a lot of fun for someone who know how to play the Steal Drum, they can finally play with Pro Tools.
jaxson50 Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 I hope it doesn't catch on....Calypso louie with synth interface....yikes!

Tman Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Although it looks like a rice cooker, I think it's pretty cool. Unique at least?
Jon S. Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 That reminded me of an electric coffee can solo I heard a guy play with the Wooten Brothers.
