what strings

:unsure: What strings should I put on this guitar epiphone PR 5E, bought it used no strings. Excellant condition. Help me out, Sonny

I brought mine new and it came with D'Addario light gauge strings, probably the EXP coated strings. When I replaced them I used D'Addario EJ11 Bronze. They sound really nice, but I will probably use D'Addario EJ16 next time, because that is the string I prefer.

 

I would be a little cautious about a guitar that came with no strings though. Check it out closely, look inside to make sure there are no broken braces or some other defect.

I use D'Addario Light Guage Phosphor Bronze. I don't like the coated strings. I've uses the medium guage strings and they sound great too, but I mostly use the lights. Plus they put less tension and stress on the neck and top.
