deepblue
I just learned something. Chambered reissues are called "Clouds"....an R9 in the chambered version is called the "Cloud 9" I dont think this is official Gibson lingo, but it sounds cool. :oilpit:
They chamber reissues? Oh god, Jesse is right, don't buy a guitar that is at least 20 years old.
deepblue
Time for Tim to get a new forum name maybe? no no, it doesnt apply to Tim or myself for that matter. We have the true solid bodies that arent weight relieved. I guess some folks wanted a reissue that was chambered and Gibby obliged them.

Wolff
Oh NVM, I get it now. There are chambered and non-chambered(solid) Reissues. Tim/R9 has the non-chambered and I assume more true to the original version. Therefore even though 'Cloud 9' is a cool sounding name it doesn't apply to Tim. Somehow 'Solid R9' doesn't cut it though. I'm having a bad night here at the forum.
