L5Larry Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 The Roland StreetCube...... I don't own one, but I have heard very good things about the Street Cubes from people that do. The first battery powered amp I remember was the Pignose. Even had a belt clip.
EpiphoneFan1989 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I use this amp at home and for travels. I like it and it´s very good for the price. But it has no effects. In my opinion very good for practice.
rolling56 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I use a Vox DA-10. Don't make them anymore and was a gift.
Supersonic Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 These little Orange Micro Crush amps are fun.
LSAR Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Only battery powered amp I've played around with is my Marshall MS4... I modded it so the headphone jack is a cab out, and have plans for a mod to increase the gain, as well as for an attenuator... If you want portability, look elsewhere, because the speakers in it suck. But for forty or fifty bucks, if you hook it up to a different speaker it is a pretty good practice amp... If any one wants details on the mods then let me know, when I've got them all done I'll post a tutorial, just about anyone who can hold a soldering iron should be able to successfully complete them...
Barcham Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I love my Roland Micro Cube. I wanted one ever since I saw these two vids on youtube. Found a used one in like new condition and jumped on it. Best 50 bucks I ever spent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UeM1gVYxb8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb1zvbuMHL0&feature=related
