2lambchops Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 i have rediscovered peter green. i started listening to his albums with mayall and fleetwood mac and i have forgotten how great this stuff was(is). i don't care too much for any of his stuff after that but it seems those were the songs that inspired me anyway. i seem to be bouncing between my original influences as of late(clapton, gallagher, beck, taylor). i seem to be stuck in the '65 to '72 era of blues based music. damn it was good. i think when these albums were converted to didgital format, it brought out things going on in the music you didn't hear originaly. i guess what's important is i'm having a good time rediscovering this music. well.....back to the woodshed.
CaptainNemo68 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I used to practice to White Room and Crossroads a lot, but for some reason I just sort of lost interest in Clapton and Cream many years ago. Guess I kinda moved on to different influences (Gary Moore, Michael Schenker, et al).
