j45nick Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Passed the 1000-post milestone today. That means I'm spending far to much time writing and thinking about guitars, not enough time playing, and not nearly enough time on the things I really need to do. I came to this forum out of curiosity, and stayed because I found a community bound by the love of guitars and the music they make, even when we are divided by native language, nationality, age, personal history, politics, and just about everything else that can separate two people. This community is about sharing the knowledge you have, and seeking knowledge from those who know more than you. This is a two-way street. People should be willing and eager to share, and not simply ask endless questions when you can readily find the answers with a bit of your own research. We get lazy sometimes, and tend to ask someone who knows, rather than try to find out for ourselves. At the same time, people here have unselfishly shared knowledge and experience with me--both in the forum and in sidebars, messages, and email--and have been of enormous help when I have stepped out of my comfort zone in trying new things. Thanks to all of you for your patience and acceptance. It's been a long, strange trip down a long and winding road--if you'll forgive the mixed metaphors from two of my favorite writers. And we aren't finished yet.
E-minor7 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 A corner rounded okay – yeah it's just a #. What is important is your contributions here. You have your karmic wheels worked out and it was seen from the moment you first posted the late sixties black'n'white 45 photo. Keep yourself, The Board and that L7 shining ~
