ThePretender Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I went back to my local mom & pop music store (Gibson 5-Star dealer) to check out the guitar I incorrectly indentified as a J-200 Junior in an earlier post and dug into it a little deeper. It turns out to be a one-off from Gibson Montana that was special ordered by a customer who neither picked it up or paid for it. The best way to describe this guitar is that it's a J-165 EC Rosewood with L-200 appointments (rosewood Emmylou?). Even though it was my second choice a few weeks ago, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to own such a singular instrument. Once she arrived at my house, she easily fit in with the rest of the herd.
