dem00n Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I was searching the web and found this on youtube...its using guitar effects but controlling it with our own body movement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jlvg0u-qjrU It is different. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlvg0u-qjrU&feature=channel_video_title Bah, wont let me insert media.
The RandyMan Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Wow! It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to get this thing to market. Looks to me to be more of a true technical advance than just a gimmick. I could see myself using one of those, as I am a very "expressive" player--that is, I tend to move with the music I'm playing as opposed to just standing still. I can't wait!
dem00n Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011 By the looks of it, it looks really unknown. Should spread the word of this.
The RandyMan Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 By the looks of it, it looks really unknown. Should spread the word of this. I think you just have . . . it definitely got my attention. I'm one of those guys with real poor hand-to-foot coordination, and something like this could be expression control linked to something other than just the foot. And judging from the size of the box, it's probably something that could be shrunk down and fitted inside the guitar body.
FirstMeasure Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I'm a pretty skeptical guy when it comes to arbitrary technical advances. This looks pretty cool! Better yet, it's potential is extremely apparent. Can't see having one on for an entire evening, but that's not the point, is it?
DAS44 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Pretty damned cool if you asked me. I could at least have some fun with it!
Dub-T-123 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Seems pretty cool but it's probably pretty complicated to set up and it doesn't really seem like anything you can't do with an expression pedal.
