Musician's Friend Exclusions

So Musician's Friend has some deal going. I love the place, but their sale ads always show pictures of stuff that isn't included in the deal. It's pretty funny. The ad shows all this great stuff, except that the sale doesn't apply to Gibson, Marshall, Fender or Ampeg. Those are the only brands I notice in the picture right away.

 

Like I said, I love the place.

I've used MF a lot, and I like them. However, I do think that their current e-mail advertisments ( 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE!!!) border on the deceptive when one has to read some hard to find conditions to discover that many popular brands are excluded from the offer.

I actually got a discount on an Ampeg guitar amp when I put it in my cart. Didn't pull the trigger though . . . yet anyway. Only a few Gibsons and Fenders apply. Marshall, ENGL, and many others I tried don't.

Sometimes you can give them a call and they will give you the discount. You can also try calling another place to see if they will match or beat the discount (even if it doesn't apply) sometime they will.
