surfpup
Except perhaps for the fact that it was recorded in December 1981 and released June 1982. Good stuff though!

Riffster
I love Rainbow. I have Rainow Live in Munich 1977 on the DVD player right now, Ritchie Blackmore is a beast, he has the nicest touch on guitar.

surfpup
One of my own favorite early 80s solo-fests... Jabs just throws licks all over this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY9x1NoyNZ4

saturn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0SvQniO0mM Man I haven't heard that song in ages! I saw Rainbow on that tour. They were good but the place was only about half sold out. Listening to it now, the song kind of strikes me as a re-hash of "Highway Star". pippy
Blackmore's great but he is/was a difficult person to please from all accounts! I loved the excerpt from Bach's D-minor Toccata and Fugue from 2:06 to 2:25....lol! I know he's a big fan of Renaissance music. Some of the 'Blackmore's Night' stuff is really good. P.
