JuanCarlosVejar
Guys and Girls , hmmm I remember Gibson put out some kind of add on their website that said : "THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER" I remember back in those days I had no money to buy high end guitars let alone a GIBSON . I know alot of the stuff Gibson put's out more marketing rather then truth . but maybe some of the members who have played and have had contact with vintage Gibby's can pin point this stuff out . Do you guys think the upgrades were a balance between vintage looks and tonal enhancement ? thanks :D incase you are wondering what the heck I'm talking about here is the link : http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/Features/upgraded-limited-true-vintage/
GotTheSilver
My brother has a Hummingbird from this run of 167. I played it a lot this weekend. It is a really, really sweet guitar. I don't have much experience with H'birds, especially vintage ones, but this one is a really great guitar. Visually, it is gorgeous. Tone wise, it just sounds unbelievable.
