rct
Krushes me every time. Almost thirty years, haven't heard an arrangement of anything that comes close. He's an old country guy, and I may or may not love all the Steamroller, but this one, gawddam I wish I'd arranged this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTSkS0Abas4&feature=player_detailpage rct

S t e v e
I have always loved this song. I first heard it while I was stationed in the UK. For many years after that I was always somewhere else during Christmas doing what was asked of me by my country. Everything about this song described my feelings while I was aeay and wanting to come home. The guitar player in me loves the lead.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2ih86J3Czw bon jovi version i prefer...

pippy
Back when I was just a wee thing (1973) there were two tracks which reached #1 and #2 respectively in the charts the same year at Xmas and have since been a permanent feature in the UK every yule-tide. They're both just a little bit Bonkers! Here they are; The magnificent Noddy Holder (with Ace Frehley's long-lost cousin on guitar!); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAUqI-cpMZE And Roy Wood with Wizzard; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoxQ4Ul_DME&ob=av2e P.
