365gtb Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 Hi Could anyone help me identify where and when my Sheraton was made? It has a label on the back of the headstock which is SL70609961. On the front it has the name Epiphone by Gibson. It also has a brass nut and laminate binding around the edge of the body. Any information would be appreciated. 365gtb Posted December 15, 2011 Author Share Posted December 15, 2011 Hi and welcome here seems to be made June '87 at the Samick plant, Korea the Epis with "Epiphone by Gibson" on the headstock only have been made for a short time around 1986-89 there is an old thread about them here..... and of course.....pics, please Thanks for that I will look up the old post.
