a couple of darkfire questions

after much deliberation i got myself a new darkfire from navda music in the uk. i did asked them if it was new and still boxed and not on display and they assured me it was.

 

when it arrive at my door i was super excited and couldnt wait to have a play with , but a few things have me wondering if i am infact its first owner??

 

1 the box has aready been opend and the were afew things missing ( firewire cable convertor, quick start guide and hex key)

 

2 when i tried to install guitar rig the key had already been used (this version of guitar rig had aready been registered)

 

now while i am not too bothered about the missing items and the guitar rig key has now been reset so i can register it, two weeks into ownership i already have a tuning issues

 

me top E string will only retune when it feels like most of the time not!, the "E" flashes so i assume this means its getting a signal but the tuner just makes hight pitched noises and tunes it down so low the string is bouncing off the fret meaning it will never get a decent signal to tune !!

 

so my questions are

 

can i find out if this guitar has been registered before i bought it?

 

is there any fix for my tuning issue?

 

if my guitar does need a repair will it have to go to gibson usa?
