Sinner 13 Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 short of a professional Ozone generator, fresh air and a good wipe down is about the best solution. I will say how ever for case lining, get a spray bottle with a good fine spray, and LIGHTLY spray the insides with a MILD (a teaspoon and no more!) white vinegar solution. works like a charm for killing odors. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT know how this will react with a nitro finish so make sure the lining is COMPLETELY dry before putting you guitar back in the case. If in doubt CONSULT YOUR LOCAL LUTHIER.
