eds111
Congrats! I've been enjoying mine for two years now. Wow this plus a J-45TV. That puts you high on the list of awesome Gibson owner's!
music4love
Very nice indeed! Most people never see a hummingbird in the winter months. But they are definitely in full flight on this forum. Gibson is building them equal to if not better than the originals. Something special is going on in Montana. Im glass we get to benefit from it. Congratulations! EuroAussie
Beautiful Marcus ! Its certainly raining Birds' this side of Xmas this year ! I noticed this is the 50th anniversayr Bird, any reason why you chose to go for this model ? Is it basically a HB True Vintage or do the specs differe with the 50th Anniversary model ? Congratulation on acquiring the most beautiful guiar in the world. You have some serious Gibson acoustics in your arsenal now !
Jinder
Sure is hard to beat a 'Bird...congrats, Markus, and happy Christmas!
Markus W.
Thanks to all for the words. I got this beauty because I was fallen in love when I played her. The guitar had a very very good price, so I can't say no. If the specs are different to the TV? I don't know... The 50th Aniversary HB is a limited Edition (200) and a Custom Shop Model. For further information please check the Gibson Website. Greets Markus
E-minor7
Look forward to hear about you and this Bird. It's good to know we have the Anniversary model represented here also. I played one half a year ago and my guess is it matches the TV specs – correct me if I'm wrong. A continued merry Christmas should be guaranteed. BewilderedPunkRabbit
Same specs as the TV model but with shiny gloss finish instead of the dulled VOS, right? Nice! Congrats!
jrplefty
That is a nice looking bird. I've been GASing for one since I got my J-45 a few months back. Fortunately for me, I live less than an hour from Wildwood. I'm hoping to sell a couple of things and get the money up to go give their New Vintage Birds a run for their money.
