I think this young unknown has the most tasteful solo.

That's Sam Coulson. I know him. He's from Bromsgrove UK. He lives in Canada now and teaches in a guitar store. He's teaching at a Paul Gilbert thing in Canada this year. I went to his house and tried his Charvel. They're great. Look him up on Monkeyfest 2011.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. Eddie's solo at 3.10.

The man that moved playing onto another level.

 

It's about time Gibson did a signature guitar for him.

 

GREAT call. Man, you hear the door knock and Eddie kicks the sum***** right in and rips your whole head off with that solo dude....

Anything by the late, great, Gary Moore.

Want to see how good he is then check out the U-Tube of him when he stepped back in for an injured Brian Robertson in Thin Lizzy. The Sydney, Australia concert. He just WAILS!

Without a doubt, one of the fastest guitarists I've ever seen.
