Californiaman
Seymour Duncan looking over and servicing Slash's AFD guitar. Nice stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6l4xzGA11po
EVOL!
So Seymour took out the pups, rewaxed and put them back in? Cool video now was that the original non Gibson LP or was that a real Gibson copy of the non Gibson guitar? That is my question too. People talk all the time about the AFD guitar, but I don't think they realize it wasn't a Gibson. It was a Gibson copy and supposedly a very nice one. AXE®
Chris Derrig, The original AFD builder. (RIP) As well as Peter Barranet and a few others, make replicas that are played as "actual" Gibson products that you see in the hands of many of your hero's. I could name more but they are friends of mine.
Californiaman
According to Duncan, this is the guitar used to record and tour with. So there.
