Make it a poll, wily: "did you buy a Gibson this year (2011, either new or used? If so, what was it? What other brands did you buy this year?
music4love 3
If this forum was a chinese calendar I think it would be safe to say that 2011 was the year of The Hummingbird. I anticipate that 2012 will be a repeat. I know it isn't even here yet, but the Birds are flying high!
EuroAussie 192
I think its a toss up between the Bird which is the flavour of December, couple months back there was a tonne of AJ's bought and earlier in the year the J-200 / 150's were also selling like hot cakes. Madman_Greg 6
Somehow I do not think 2012 will be the the year of the Sparrow For me if I get the money together its J200 or J185 time... But those are in third place to an ES335 Madman Greg

BluesKing777 249
I know I don't need any more guitars, but a new guitar is a good way to spur on more playing. I have been trying to playing the thing since I was a child, and incentives to practice are NEEDED! Having said that, I have no idea what I want next. Everybody seems to be buying Hummingbirds......
