Gibson Guitars - sound

It was the 70's that I lost the "Lark" and more than a few brain cells. I now have a Stetson, inherited, which has a rich sound, for a parlor guitar, that imitates my Larks tones. Beautifully. The Stetson was constructed in the 1927-1931 era. I inherited it and play it fairly regularly. I also have a Martin D-28 and A Guild 12 D45. I also have arthritis as I am 63 and worked with my hands for most of my life. Glass and glazing in the San Francisco, Northbay area.

First, I love guitar. Not that good at it anymore but love the shout and ring of any guitar. More, I love to sit in front of the soundhole and hear the resonance of strings as the player cannot while playing a supreme instrument for all it is worth from behind the instrument. There is nothing better than guitar. Well, maybe French Horns. I never hear the two together but I think that is a match made in Heaven.

Well, I wanted to put down a thought or two and say that music is a language. I played guitar all over the Pacific; any guitar offered and made friends everywhere. Hope to do so here. C#. mart28

Hey Mart

I also 63 and lost a lot of brain cells in the 60's.

Far too much LSD25 ! [cool]

I am still playing ; even more than ever now !

Mainly ; Blues / Jazz / Jazz Fusion, and using my SG and

LP Jnr, as well as my Ibanez Artcores (semis).

So .... Keep on rockin' my friend .. [wink]

God bless you !!! :)
