Gibson2099
I want a LP Standard, but I want it cheaper than Gibson. I know Epiphone Les Paul is pretty cheap, but is there anything that's less money than Epiphone LP?
Tim Plains
You can get an Epi Les Paul for $300, you can't find a Gibson for that much. The cheapest Gibson Les Paul is probably the Vintage Mahogany or the BFG?
Gibson2099
Thanks, I'll be sure to look into that.

deepblue
Save!!! Dont settle. Even if you have to wait a bit. Do what you need to do. Its clear you want a Les Paul....dont settle for anything but. I know its frustrating to wait, but not only will you enjoy it more because you worked and saved for it, but youll also be the proud owner of an authentic Gibson Les Paul. Say it over and over.... I went to about 10 different places before I got my Premium Plus and I got it brand new for 900 bucks less than what you see on the web. This was about a year long process. My point here is that with a little patience and saving, you can get a great Les Paul for a great price. When you finally do get it, you'll appreciate it even more. Tim Plains
Guys, before we all tell him he should save his pennies we should ask how old he is? If he's just a 13 year old kid, there's no point in telling him to save because it'll take him forever to gather the money.
Elias
i used to have an Epiphone les Paul Standard Goldtop 56.. real nice guitar. Gibson it`s just amazing... Just, try to save if you can... and all the time that you waited for it.. will worth
pippy
As everyone else says, save up (assuming you won't have to wait ten years) for a Gibson. The Epi is a lovely instrument but just having the Gibson logo on the headstock will give you so much pleasure (if my own experience after buying my first 'Real' guitar is a guide) you will ultimately want to spend more time playing it and will also get better sooner as a result. Best of luck.

FennRx
buy used. let me repeat, buy used. with the market the way it is, you can get amazing deals buying used guitars. and by buying used, i dont mean buying used stuff at Guitar Center. watch your local craigslist. it may take some time, but you might be pleasantly suprised. Les Paul Fanatic
Les Paul Vintage Mahogany 899.99 musiciansfriend.com or guitarcenter.com (? on the second one) I know the first one has the Vintage for a fact cause that's where I ordered mine from, I'm just waiting for it to "come" in. xdamerx
Cheapest form of Les Paul?......A FAKE!!
Les Paul Fanatic
If by cheapest you mean most expensive. You'll end up paying the price tag on a real one for a fake if you aren't careful, therefore buy directly from a music store.
