WindWalker, thank you for that suggestion.

 

Maybe that's why i've had that TriFlow holstered up to now and not used it.

 

I'm thinking anything in liquid form is going to attract dust and gum things up even more !

 

Dry lubrication actually sounds like the way to go.

 

I'll have to check around where it might be available.

 

I'm thinking you local locksmith should have some on hand ?

 

Anyway, thanks for bringing up the quote unquote dry alternative :)

Tri-Flow makes a number of products. What you want is the one called "Superior Dry Lubricant". There are a number of similar products, such as McLube. These have a liquid vehicle to help them flow, but that flashes off to leave an essentailly dry film behind. For best results, I would still recommend removing tuners before lubricating them with anything.
