lagerfanny Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Huge Congratulations to Sir Jim Marshall Here's some hot news (gossip really) regarding some of this years anniversary amps, http://www.marshallforum.com/marshall-amps/37368-marshall-1-watt-amps.html
Buxom Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I have a family friend who's from the UK. Back in the 60s and 70s, his father worked with Jim Marshall. I'm a sucker for good tones, so I own a Marshall.
This_Dying_Soul Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 not a marshall user myself, but can't deny Marshall's place in the history and evolution of Rock'n'Roll or the electic guitar. Often imitated but never duplicated. Happy 50th Marshall!

surfpup Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 The Marshall amp was a game changer for sure, IMHO! Happy Anniversary, Jim!

sparky scott 29 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 50 years huh?? Wow, it seem like when I was a kid, oh wait, I'm 46, that they were around forever then. H-Day!!
lagerfanny Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 Marshall have updated their site, have a look & listen, http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productId=177
lagerfanny Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 One watt amps, great for recording useless for playing out without assistance of a PA. Plenty of scope for all players, be it live on stage, in the studio or at home ! pic of their stall at NAMM 2012
surfpup Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 One watt amps, great for recording useless for playing out without assistance of a PA. And how often do you gig without a PA? Regardless of their gig-ability, those little heads are giving me GAS! (Or maybe AAS). I think I will need to own the JTM, JMP and JCM versions anyway.
lagerfanny Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Another vid which mentions a collectors package which is a handwired Bluesbreaker amp along with a Les Paul (need a lottery win for that me thinks)ready for September,
lagerfanny Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 OH DEAR, really wanted the JCM1.........................but the prices http://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-amp-heads/pid22850/cid689/marshall-50th-anniversary-jcm1h-jcm-style-80s-1w-valve-head.asp
