kevin nowhow Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Hey guys, new to the forum here, I was thinking about getting an XT2DB bass.Thing is i want to tune it to B (B-E-A-D) ,which leads to heavier gauge strings & then exploit the ability to downtune that low B even further with the switch the bass provides.Can it be done or should i go for the XT-25 5-string instead? Can you use different tunings in Steinbergers in general? I generally prefer the string spacing to be as wide as possible but i have no idea what's the deal with those basses...
