I was reading through the liner notes to the Sound and Vision box set I have the other day.

I've seen Bowie twice and have grown up listening to him.

This is by far his biggest hit, but it's so good. It don't get old in my book.

I just listened to Ashes to Ashes and Space Oddity back to back and thought I'd post this.

We used to sit around at my friends older brothers house during the 70s and early 80s and listen to a lot Bowie.

We'd play Risk for hours.

Get high, drink beer, attack and defend and build up armies and take over contenants all day long until the game was over.

I also remember listening to a lot of Beatles as well as everybody's solo albums at that time.

Alice Cooper got a lot of time on that old turntable too.

That's where I was introduced to Lou Reed and Velvet Underground too.

My Favourite Bowie tracks are Wild Is The Wind from Station To Station and The Jean Genie from Alladin Sane, sorry that I can't bring up links.

I remember being introduced to Bowie by my older cousin when our family went down to visit relatives in Florida one summer.

I was 13 at best and he was 2 years older than me. He had girlfriends plural, drank beer with his friends and had been to see this band called Pink Floyd.

I was never quite the same.msp_thumbup.gif

The older I get the more I appreciate Bowie. Ziggy Stardust has become a song I sing at almost every jam party we have any more.
