retrorod
I was browsing the 'Bay this morning over coffee and ran up on this 'celebrity-owned' Gibby up for bid. Lots of detailed pics and a soundbite. I guess the wear and tear could be called "honest"! My link And here is another link from a 1959 recording. The SJ is fairly new in these pictures... Nick Beach
I want to check out that guitar, says it's in Winstin Salem, and I have to drive through there today to get back to school. Hmm...
retrorod
Yeah Nick, I would if I were you and the music store was convenient to get to. The auction ends in 12 hours or so. It makes me wonder why the guitar did not go to one of the heirs or family members? Seems a shame to put a man,s "life and joy" out on the auction block. They should have buried it with him! It would insure 'eternal happiness'... RRod

E-minor7
The auction ends within an hour. Saw it some days ago and forgot. Too much of Mr. Moore's personal mojo for me.
