This_Dying_Soul Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 An original from my old band King Groov. The song is dedicated to a few people that bandmates knew and had on their minds when we wrote the song. This is from my pre-Gibson years. Couldn't afford a Gibby yet. The electric guitars on the track are a Cort MGM-1. The lead track was recorded on the bridge pickup and the rhythm and harmony track for the solo are on the neck pickup. The amp - a Peavey Classic Chorus 212, but the preamp section of the amp is bypassed in favor of a Peavey Rockmaster tube preamp. The effects - a Boss Super Chorus and a Ibanez Analog Delay. There is also a cheapo acoustic guitar I got for $100 at a local pawn shop that can be heard during the clean sections - it's a Martin knock-off. I co-wrote the music with my bassist in the band and the drummer wrote the lyrics. The drummer is also doing the lead vocal on this track. In Loving Memory.mp3
