DesLesPaul Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Hi All, Just new to the forum so hello to all!!!!! I've just upgraded from my cheap LP copy to the Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Goldtop. I was wondering if anybody has tips on how I can keep the goldtop finish in top shape? Are there any kinds of polishes I can get? Also any recommendations for fretboard care? Thanks in advance my friends!!!

RaSTuS Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Welcome to the forum DLP, hope you enjoy the place. Many use soft cotton cloths or microfibre pads to wipe the guitar down, and windex works a treat on stubborn patches. There's a lot of info about maintaining/modifying/repairing guitars in the DIY thread pinned to the top of the Epi Lounge, thanks to animalfarm who compiled and maintains it. DIY Thread
