Les Paul Studio Which Model

I have purchased a pre owned 2001 Les Paul Studio

 

 

I am trying to find out which version this is. from what i can find out it could be a Premium Plus model

 

AA or AAA figured maple top

Velvet Red

Gold hardware

Vintage Gibson Deluxe tuners

no fitted scratch plate, came with it but no holes to fit pre drilled.

 

Any information about the model and original RRP and current value would be welcome

It is a very pretty top, but my guess is that it's a Studio Plus. I don't think they started making the Studio Premium Plus until about 2005 or 2006. I could be wrong though. I didn't actually research it.

 

If you look in the p/u cavity you might find a clue like this:

Yes it seems to be the Studio Plus.... They dont make them any more. The nearest is the Studio Pro Plus that looks similar but has different hardware..

 

Lovely guitar though. Wine red is one of the best finishes that Gibson do I think and that flame top is classy...
