GabeVazquez Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I recently bought a Gibson Dethklok Explorer. It's beautiful, plays awesome, and sounds amazing! My only problem is that I have a solid black truss rod cover. It doesn't have the engraved "thunderhorse" on it and I just want to know if there's any way to get one. Whether Gibson will be nice and get me one, or if I have to buy a cover. I just want my Thunderhorse truss rod cover! Quote
That Geye Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Hey, I've seen a couple gibsons and epiphone thunderhorse guitars that had the same solid black and one with a silver truss rod cover. The original cover isn't serialized or blessed by Skwigelfs himselfs so you can have a custom one duplicating it's material and engravings. I found ebay has a lot of retailers that will give you what you want for DIRT cheap, just send them an email directly after purchasing. Quote
