I need money for a car asap. The guitar costs $3599 through musician's friend(I bought it last year from guitar center, same thing). I'm letting it go for $2,200 in hopes that it will sell quickly. Please, if anyone can afford this guitar, help me out. You could easily resell it for more than what I'm asking. This is a beautiful flamed maple guitar. For pics, check out my myspace http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.editAlbumPhotos&albumID=1123961&MyToken=4236b911-cc15-450f-a58b-dda226e1fb1a

i also have a lot of guitar pedals.. I'll throw in a couple pedals of your choice with the guitar.

thanks,

nathan

What neck profile does it have?

How to post your pictures in The Gibson Forum.

First get a photo hosting service such as Photobucket, it is free to set up a basic account.

(Photobucket is just one example, there are many sites provide free photo hosting)

Then just upload your photos to the site and save them.

Once you have saved them there will be code box by the photo that will have an code in it.

When you click on this box, the code is automatically saved into your clipboard.

Then just come back to this forum and click on the icon located in your editor window, that has the mountian and sun on it.

Then post your code in between the img tag brackets.

That's it!

Also, if you wish to reference a photo on another site, just right click on the photo, select properties, then select the location, and highlight and copy, then just post the location into the [img ] tags.

wait a sec... you said it's a 68 RI? I didn't know there was such a thing. and the headstock clearly says "Les Paul custom" and has the block inlays and first fret inlay to match. What exactly is this guitar???

If you look at the certificate in the first picture you can see on the left of the certificate in the little white box that it say's .. 68 LPC-F. Looks like 68 les paul custom to me based on that. Looks pretty nice. Not sure what the F means.

Aha! I see now! It's a reissue of the 68 Custom... (just like the title says. Interesting how that happens' date=' eh?) I apologize for my naivety.

How come you can take great photos of the case candy and the neck' date=' but the rest of the photos are pretty poor quality.[/quote']

because i'm not a professional photographer.. i don't have a tripod camera stand.. i practice guitar more than i practice taking pictures.. ?

I took many pics, and simply chose the clearest ones i could take. It's hard to hold the camera perfectly still. Sorry if some of the images are more blurry than others. It seems that you suggest I purposefully intended that.. really? gimmie a break

Didn't mean anything buy it. But it is hard to see the quality of the guitar because the photos are so blurred. My guess is that anyone who is interested may want to see better quality photos of the guitar. You may want to consider taking a few photos outside in natural light. Didn't mean to imply anything. Just an observation.

Good luck.

That's cool, no worries. My friend told me they actually suck and he's going to help me take better pictures today haha. Daylight is probably best. Thanks for the suggestion.

possibly the photes can be edited and some of the insense orange saturation reduced' date=' hard to tell the actual color.[/quote']

I'm going to take new photos outside in natural daylight. Actually, the color of this guitar is VERY ORANGE.. I always thought it was kind of a pumpkin color. hey, perfect for halloween ;P haha, that was a "horrorible" joke.. Ok, i'll stop

I think mylespaul forum has a marketplace--though Craigslist is probably your best bet. But you never know, there are lot of people on this forum that would love to get their hands on this one. I am one of them, though my wife would cut my nuts off if I bought it.
