hey guys, some of you might remember back in november I had brought up the topic of my hummingbird pick guard and how to get a new one. Well almost a month and a half later......it is complete. It took a lot longer than I wanted or expected, but she looks beautiful once again! A big thank you needs to be handed out to Jeremy Morton for his follow ups and concerns regarding my situation. He was with me every step of the way and made the transition 10x better and faster. So, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Jeremy Morton.

Also, the sound of the guitar did not change at all. I was worried a bit because the newer guard was a bit thicker but in all honesty, no change.

Out of couriosity, did you compare the tone when the pickguard was off compared to when it was on, did you hear a difference ?

It's just so great to have a customer advocate like Jeremy to go to in situations like this. Assisting folks that need help, he adds a welcomed extra dimension to the Acoustic subforum. Once again, kudos to Jeremy. . [thumbup]

I did not have the guitar when the guard was off. I was just comparing the two pick guards. The older one (original) was a bit thinner than the new one.
