Andrew Guitar 1988 Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 Hello, i have a Gibson Les Paul but i don't know if its deluxe or junior or what! jajaja Can i have any help please! the serial number is 0 0 3 1 5 6 2 6, according to the explications in the Gibson page, the guitar was made in Jan 31, 1905 i dont know if that interpretation its true. As for details, email Gibson at service@gibson.com with the serial number and they can give you the model, finish, electronics and hardware. . L5Larry Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 Gibson serial numbers tell nothing specific about the "model" of guitar. We can help you here with that if you post some photos. In the case of recently made guitars, Gibson customer service may, or may not, be able (or willing) to furnish information concerning model and manufacturing date, but it may be worth a call. In the case of an 8-digit serial number starting with "00", that two number prefix was used for the "year code" in 1976. So if you have a 70's model it would be from '76.
