Preparation is the best antidote. It breeds confidence. At the gig, "experience the music as deeply as you can. The audience may not get it but you did" (D. Bromberg). A deep calming breath can help. About libations, just keep in mind that they can undo preparation, breed false confidence, impair your capacity to attend to what you are doing and distort your relation with the house.
