Owen Kav Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Ive got a "epiphone by Gibson "Sheraton and can't find the serial number, I understand it used to be on a sticker on the back of the headstock it's been removed or lost ??? The easiest way to get an idea of the approximate dates would be to post some pics, particularly frontal shots of the headstock and body, there were subtle changes over time and many guys here (not me) know how to tell from such pics to help pinpoint the date pretty close. Info on how to post pics is in the DIY thread pinned to the top of the Epi Lounge, thanks to animalfarm who created and maintains it.
